Where should I stay in Vancouver?

The conference venue is located in the heart of the Downtown East Side (DTES).

To be nearby the conference venue, try staying in Gastown, Railtown, Chinatown or downtown Vancouver.

If you want to get away from the downtown core, try staying in the Mount Pleasant or Strathcona neighbourhoods.

There are many fantastic hotels in the downtown core, however Airbnb is also a great way to experience Vancouver like a local! Try reaching out through the GCUC Canada Facebook page if you are looking for roommates during the conference.

What’s the best way to get around the city?

Vancouver is easy to access by bike, taxi or by public transit. Most of the city is walkable from the downtown core. Check out the Vancouver Skytrain, Mobi Bike Share, and Vancouver Yellow Cab to start.

Will we have the chance to visit coworking spaces?

Absolutely! On Day Three we offer tours of collaborative workspaces and special attractions the city has to offer. Exploring Vancouver with your new friends and our team of passionate ambassadors will be a lot of fun!
